*SPECTRAchutesÓ sizes are the “measured open base diameter” of the bottom of the `chute (the first 3 digits in the part number). Some people measure the `chute flat (the second three digits in the part number), or “over the top” (the third group of three digits in the part number).
A suggested starting point is to use the second group of numbers in the part number for a slower descent rate and the third group of numbers for a faster descent rate for the `chute size in programs like RockSIMä or RSIMä.

SPECTRAchutesÓ has the following shroud lines available: 100, 150 or 200 pound test, round braided Dacron or nylon lines with the option of a 200 pound test flat tubular nylon parachute cord for 10% premium.
If needed, shroud lines can be added to the top opening of the 'chute for an additional 10%.
A fabric and color sampler is available for $1.00.
